  We have made a unified plan for plant and animal growing methods and production for our farm and garden that will meet our needs and enhance our world. The future of family farming depends on new families going to the land and finding a high quality of life with economic viability. Our goal is to enhance the local community using and teaching farming practices that positively impact our environment.

Our Farm

  We bought an undeveloped, organic by neglect 10 acre hobby farm in 2000 with hopes it would more than just a hobby. We pulled our U- Hauls from Texas and started. We have learned to fit our plans to the land. Prior planning and knowledge of recourses available can make this process less expensive and more successful. We are going forward as an organic self sustaining farm that works itself. Because we like to teach and firmly believe that urban, suburban, and rural homes can all be part of a sustainable community we have this site and our classes. Come join us.

* The Mandala garden which is capable of producing enough fruit and vegetables for an entire family of 4 by simply mimicking patterns found in nature. It is 30 foot in diameter and can be adapted for one’s own back yard
